Outlook out-of-office detection in ICS feeds
On-Call Optimizer now recognises Outlook style “Out of Office” events when configured to import availability from an ICS calendar feed, in addition to the Google Calendar out-of-office events already understood. Previously these Outlook blocks were not recognized resulting in unexpected assignments. Those periods are now respected when assignments are generated.
Configurable schedule horizon limits
The scheduling horizon and calendar import window are no longer fixed at 90 days. On eligible plans this limit can be raised for an organization or an individual schedule, allowing teams to generate on-call assignments further into the future.
The maximum horizon available to your account is shown in the schedule configuration screens. Calendar imports dynamically adjust the time window of events imported in line with the horizon needs of the schedules the user is a member of.
Bugfixes and minor changes
- Calendar imports no longer fail when a Microsoft calendar event includes an attendee with a missing email address.
- Fixed occasional errors on the destination notification history page for a small subset of users.
